Drawing on both heavy and pop-influenced sounds, Segmentia is a Finnish Pop Metal band that creates an atmospheric display of music styles. From the Alone EP comes five tracks addressing individual power—finding it, familiarizing with it, and exploring the boundaries within its genre.
Segmentia's characteristic metal, electro, and symphonic elements tie the songs together. Drummer Jere Luokkamäki explained: “These 5 songs have crystallized Segmentia and its sound [by] exploring the combination of contrasting pop & metal music [which has been] interesting and surprisingly natural.” These songs reflect our human lives as well as what we should appreciate while living here. Most importantly, they connect to this world around us—showing us how we are connected to each other and propelling us closer to understanding it even further.
